It’s been 5 years since 5000 RDU members filed claims with the State of California for theft of our wages by Lyft and Uber. Finally, as of this month, the state is sitting down with the companies for a potential settlement of the BILLIONS owed to drivers. After years of being under Prop 22 and watching as our working conditions erode away, we now have an opportunity to win something BIG here in California! This is a critical moment for our movement: the state attorneys are fighting for drivers but they need  to hear drivers demands for unpaid wages and stopping of wage theft in the future- that’s what real dignity looks like.
