Join drivers for a weekly 30-minute conversation on how to continue building the power necessary to take on Uber and Lyft - and WIN.
In RDU's Driver Activism Orientation, drivers meet each other, discuss the challenges we face, and talk with RDU leaders about how to join the fight!
Drivers are Building power! As we continue building a strong, driver-led union, this is an important opportunity to connect with drivers statewide to hear updates on our unionization and wage claim settlement campaigns, new legal challenges to Prop 22, and to help shape our next steps.
At the Zoom meeting, we'll discuss:
• Drivers’ union organizing efforts to build driver power across California• Our ongoing wage claim settlement campaign and what it means for drivers• Updates on RDU's legal fights challenging Prop 22 and defending drivers' rights• How you can get involved and help build driver power
Join us as we talk about what this means for our movement and how we can win our union!
Deactivations are the second biggest issue facing drivers, right behind pay. Most drivers are not told what violations we supposedly committed or given the chance to properly defend ourselves against wrongful terminations. Join us as we bring together drivers with legal students to explore what options drivers have to challenge unfair terminations, and how RDU is building power to fight for a better standard against wrongful deactivations.
